A not-for-profit consumer co-op that is open to the public. An excellent homeowner resource for hard-to-find materials for home repair and maintenance as well as "green" kitchen cabinets. They also offer homeowner workshops teaching virtually everything you need to know to maintain your home! We're a member and strong supporter of this organization.

A non-profit materials resource center: a great resource for low-income homeowners and non-profit organizations as well as homeowners. You can purchase materials at great discounts. Contractors and homeowners may also donate excess or left-over materials from home improvement projects.
